Company Profile

Houston Analytical Systems Company is a manufacturers’ representative/distributor in the Texas and Oklahoma area and Master Distributor for products in the US and Mexico.  We were founded in March of 1983 to fulfill a specific need to provide a technically oriented source of analytical instrumentation and packaged systems.   Since then, we have grown and expanded our focus to include providing analytical and technical expertise for laboratory, environmental, industrial hygiene, safety, PMI, process control and personal monitoring equipment needs.

Our underlying operating philosophy has been and continues to be one that stresses exceptional customer service, particularly in the area of after-sale service.  For this reason, we have enjoyed an excellent reputation and a large base of satisfied repeat customers.  Coupled with our technical expertise gained by the combined experience of over 80 years of technical, product and market knowledge, this enables Houston Analytical to deliver sound technology-based solutions to a large customer base supported by extensive industry contacts.

Our staff currently consists of seven people.  Mary Jo Buttafuoco  is our Administrative Assistant, providing customer service and clerical support.  She has 16 years of Houston Analytical service.  Outside sales are handled by Don Mears, Phil Landon, Neil Brown (OK), and Raymond Lindeen with a combined experience base of over 80 years. Eva Villalobos is our  Sales Data Coordinator and handles International Sales Support.

Houston Analytical Systems covers the following markets in the Texas, Oklahoma and Mexico: Chemical/Petro-Chemical, Refining, Water and Wastewater, Governmental, Pipeline, Power Generation, Semiconductor, Hospitals, Schools, Medical and Aerospace.  We produce periodic mailings to clients with an application driven focus.  We participate in various trade organizations and exhibits such as NACE, ISA, PITTCON, AIHE, AWMA, PETRO-EXPO, SSPC, GCC and IFPAC.  Local advertising is performed in ISA and TX Environmental News Magazines.  Our computerized data base allows for generation of quotes, lead follow-up, email broadcasts,  and application updates..
